Our St. Cloud Carefree Living is looking for a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing to join our growing and established Assisted Living community in St. Cloud, MN. SALARY: Negotiable based on experience.
SCHEDULE: Hours are Monday-Friday, day shift schedule but may require additional hours based on client needs. This position requires an on-call rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Nursing is responsible for clinical and departmental functions of the assisted living and memory care communities they manage. Main responsibilities include:
- Relationship building and ensuring the ultimate level of care and customer service is provided
- Manage care for clients in 24/7 care setting by delegating tasks to the team and thoroughly communicating client needs
- Strong prioritization and organization to manage variety of tasks in fast-paced environment
- Providing assessments and thoroughly learning and understanding your clients needs and desires for their life
- Case management and coordinating care that helps clients live in their best way
- Planning and goal setting with your clients, understand their hopes and goals
- Training and evaluation in the delivery of professional and paraprofessional services to clients
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current RN licensure with 3-6 years' experience is required, preferably in a senior housing setting. BSN preferred.
- Must have a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent care and customer service.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Position requires computer use; knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office is required.
- Must have Drivers' License in good standing and the ability to drive to other locations.
- Selected candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and will be subject to a DHS background study.
