Life Enrichment Coordinator
Spectrum Health Companies is a Minnesota-based statewide community health care provider of Assisted Living, Memory Care, Homecare and Independent Living services.
Established assisted living and memory care community is seeking candidates for a part time Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team.
The Life Enrichmen tCoordinator develops and implements programs and special events, provides socialization and coordinates entertainment, thereby contributing to the best quality of life for each resident. This position also recruits and coordinates volunteers.
Part time mainly days, additional hours available based on client and facility needs.
Spectrum is an EOE/Drug Free/AA employer.
DUTIES
Selected candidate will create a monthly programming/life enrichment calendar, conduct specialized programming in our secured memory care community, attend events outside of our community, and work with various departments and individuals to coordinate functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel and Word; professionalism, well-groomed, attention to detail and customer satisfaction are key to success.
Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study.
Selected candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Recreational Therapy Degree preferred. Prior programming experience is desired, healthcare experience is preferred. Memory Care experience required.
High school diploma/GED is preferred.
