Maintenance / Environmental Services Supervisor

Spectrum Health Companies is a Minnesota-based statewide community health care provider of Assisted Living, Memory Care, Homecare and Independent Living services.

Established assisted living and memory care community in Burnsville, MN is accepting applications for an Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team.

Position is full time, with weekend or after-hours as necessary in an emergency situation.

DUTIES

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for preventative maintenance, general repairs, painting and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures; operational efficiency and cost effectiveness including personal safety within the 90 unit building(s) and grounds of the facility. This role will provide supervision and leadership for the environmental services staff to ensure that they have the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete the essential functions of their jobs in housekeeping, laundry and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be hard working and self-motivated. Proven work history available to verify mechanical skill level is required.

Two year technical degree or equivalent in building maintenance or related field is preferred.

Position requires the ability to accurately and independently direct and follow through on work activities.

Candidates must be willing to interact with others - experience in the senior housing industry preferred, not required.

Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study and must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements of the position.
