Spectrum Health Companies is looking for a Regional Registered Nurse to join our growing and established Carefree Living assisted living communities in Burnsville/St Cloud/Brainerd/McGregor areas. SCHEDULE:

Work/life balance with a flexible day shift schedule, may require an occasional evening.

DUTIES:

  • Ensure quality of client care and regulatory compliance by providing over-site and direction to nursing department heads, case managers, line staff or administrative personnel regarding care issues, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement safety programs to ensure the well-being of residents, staff and visitors as well as avoiding injuries and financial loss.
  • Responsible for implementing the nursing process, including assessment, case management, diagnosis, planning, goal setting, implementation and evaluation, in the delivery of professional and paraprofessional services according to MDH licensing.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance of appropriate, accurate and complete documentation of information on clients and staff under your supervision according to agency policy.
  • Delegate appropriate nursing functions according to State Licensure and agency policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with current county, state and federal regulations.
  • Actively participate in agency-wide activities and its continuous quality improvement program. Responsible for evaluating the home care program's level of excellence and implementing process improvement strategies as indicated.
  • Assessments, case management, auditing and care plan accuracy.
  • Assist with orientation, on-boarding and training nursing staff for ongoing success.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Implementing and enforcing nursing processes in accordance with licensing agencies.
  • Assure sites are survey ready at all times.
  • Assist residents to reach and maintain his/her highest level of performance and independence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota. Public Health Nurse Certificate and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Pass a criminal background study and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Assisted living experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products; clinical charting experience is preferred.
