Transportation/Shuttle Driver

Position is part-time, seasonal, primarily daytime hours, with weekend or afterhours as necessary in an emergency situations. Position will require travel.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for safely transporting residents between the Northern Minnesota Carefree Living sites to scheduled activities. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Check maintenance of the vehicle regularly, gas, service needs per vehicle maintenance requirements
• Maintain a valid and current driver's license
• Perform other functions as deemed apprpriate by management  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High school diploma is preferred
• Experience in transportation preferred
• Ability to maintain excellent interersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family
• Candidates will be subject to a criminal and motor vehicle background study
• Candidates must be hardworking and dedicated to provide an exceptional customer service experience

PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to sit, stand, speak, and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend and stoop using good body mechanics
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling that exceeds 150 lbs.
• Some exposure to infectious waste, toxic chemicals, needles/body fluids, mechanical hazards and driving

The successful candidate must have a passion for excellent customer service, enjoys cleaning and takes pride in keeping .
